As many as 68% of respondents believe Zvizdić lacks the capacity for the role of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina

As many as 68% of respondents in a survey by the Bosnian news agency Patria said they believe Denis Zvizdić lacks the necessary capacity to perform the function of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) voted at a session held on December 18 in Sarajevo that Denis Zvizdić would be proposed as the Chairman-designate of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zvizdić's main opponent was also a high-ranking SDA member, Adil Osmanović. However, Zvizdić had the open support of the Deputy President of the SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, so in the end, with 17 votes in favor and six abstentions, it was decided that Zvizdić would be the SDA candidate who should replace Vjekoslav Bevanda at the head of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The appointment of Zvizdić as Chairman-designate must be confirmed by the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then it must be adopted by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, NAP reports.

In the survey conducted by Patria on the portal nap.ba, as many as 68% of respondents stated that Zvizdić lacks the necessary capacity to perform the function of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, support for Zvizdić was given by 28% of respondents, while 4% had no opinion on this matter, NAP reports.
