Turbulence in the BiH Presidency: Ivanić Accuses Bosniaks of Opening His Letter from The Hague

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanić, stated at a press conference in Sarajevo today that he received an open letter from the International Court of Justice in The Hague, despite issuing an order that no one should do so and that it must be delivered to him sealed.  

He announced that he will await the results of the investigation to be conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, and if it is proven that the letter was opened at the BiH Embassy in The Hague, he will demand the recall of Ambassador Mirsada Čolaković, writes Patria.

-It is now clear to me where Mr. Izetbegović got this letter from earlier. The circumstances were such that only Bosniak staff came into contact with the letter. I will await the investigation to see what it shows, and I have no intention of letting this go, Ivanić emphasized.

He said that he will send his response to the Court in The Hague, personally, through a special envoy, because he no longer trusts anyone. The response is due on March 2nd at 6 PM.

-What I will write are already known things. Agent Sakib Softić's mandate expired after the process concluded in 2007 and the verdict was delivered.

The request for a review of the verdict is the stance of the individual Sakib Softić, and no BiH body or institution stands behind him. I am convinced that after my arguments, the Court will reject this request as unfounded, Ivanić stated.
