Turbulent Saturday in Sarajevo: Violent conduct, Konzum robbery, pistols seized...

There was quite a turbulent day in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday, and members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton had quite a lot of work to do, writes the Patria News Agency.

First, after midnight, M.A. born in 1997 was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of violent conduct. Also, in the vehicle driven by the arrested N.G. born in 1987, police officers found and seized a "Crvena Zastava" pistol with a magazine containing eight bullets, as well as eleven more 7.65 mm caliber bullets for which he did not possess a permit from the competent authority.

- The duty prosecutor was informed about the mentioned case, and the named person was handed over to the detention facilities for detained persons - say the MUP of KS.

On Saturday, Konzum in Himze Polovine street was also robbed by unknown perpetrators who, threatening with a firearm, committed robbery against an employee, and an undetermined amount of money was stolen.

- Police officers are working on clarifying this case and identifying and finding the perpetrators - added the MUP of KS.
