Bukvarević and Mandra to help demobilised soldiers from Kakanj

 

Representatives of the Federal Ministry for Veterans and Disabled Persons of the Defence-Liberation War today received demobilised soldiers Ćazim Bajrić and Namir Pipa from Kakanj at the Ministry's headquarters in Sarajevo, who had again come to protest in front of the Federal Government building seeking help with employment, reports the Patria news agency.

After being informed of their intentions, Federal Minister Salko Bukvarević, due to his absence, instructed the Ministry's secretary Tatjana Pejaković, head of cabinet Salka Beba, and head of the Department for Normative-Legal and General Affairs Jasmina Avdić to try to find a solution to their problems due to the difficult economic situation and justified need for employment.

The Federal Ministry has so far, within its competencies, provided assistance and given recommendations for Bajrić and Pipa, but since it is not authorised to fulfil their requests, the Ministry's representatives undertook the obligation that a joint meeting will be held next week between Federal Minister Salko Bukvarević, the Mayor of Kakanj Nermin Mandra, and these demobilised soldiers with the aim of resolving their existential issues.

Minister Bukvarević, who was on the phone during this meeting, once again called on all institutions at the municipal, cantonal and federal levels to help in the employment of demobilised soldiers and the realisation of their rights, the ministry announced.
