Future organization of Mostar: Veterans' associations will not give blank support to anyone

Semir Drljević Lovac, representing the Coordination of all veterans' associations of the City of Mostar, and Mostar Mufti Salem ef. Dedović attended the rally in Mostar organized by SDA last night, reports the Patria news agency.

The party's proposal for the future organization of the City was presented at the rally. Lovac stated that the SDA's proposed solution arrived "at the last minute," and that veterans cannot support it as such.

-I can't say anything more about this because I received this proposal at the entrance. We are a very serious coordination and we have no intention of giving our stance in 15 minutes, said Drljević.

He added that the veterans will review the proposal and will also study the proposal from the Center for Peace, because, as he says, other proposals do not have much weight.

-This is not the first time that the hysteria of this crisis endangers the citizens of "my village," I am speaking personally, "my village." Whenever some donkey, who thinks he is involved in politics somewhere, stirs up a story, the problems are on Bulevar and the former Old Town municipality. My neighbors and my neighbors' children are there. Pay close attention to what you are doing, Drljević told the SDA representatives.

He stated that he thought this would be a slightly broader gathering, not an SDA rally.

-So as not to play in murky waters, we, as veterans' organizations, will consider every proposal and will not give anyone blank support to organize Mostar, said Drljević.

Mostar Mufti Salem ef. Dedović called for calming tensions and for the gathering of a common and unified Bosniak, Bosniac, and pro-Mostar front.

-The problem of Mostar is not a problem of yesterday. This is a long, complex, and complicated issue. We must not lose our nerves and lose our heads. We must proceed with a cool head to the end, persistently and patiently, without settling scores. We don't need any settling of scores. We need a common, unified, Bosniac, Bosniak, and pro-Mostar front when it comes to Mostar, said Mufti Dedović.

According to him, Mostar has not been convinced in any way so far that anything has changed from the other dominant side, which has wanted to make Mostar its city all these years.

-Bosniaks and constituent Serbs of this city have a different view of Mostar, throughout history they have had a different view of Mostar. We must listen to that, unite and respect it, and create a common solution. There can be no partial solutions. The solution must be one, unified, and common. In the interest of Mostar, the future of the children of all nations and citizens of this city, said the Mostar Mufti.
