Budnjo asked Tihić if he knew the Main Board session was held!

Alija Budnjo, a member of the Main Board of the Party of Democratic Action, at the recently held extraordinary session of the Main Board of this party, stated from the podium that the party's president, Sulejman Tihić, was not aware that the Main Board session would be held, more precisely, that he did not sign the decision to hold the session.

Budnjo told NAP that he learned that Tihić had been informed about the holding of the session, but that he did not put his signature on the decision to hold the extraordinary session.

- He was not informed by the president of the Main Board, Halid Genjac, but Bakir Izetbegović did inform him on Saturday, but he did not sign the consent for the holding. I asked that purely to see whether this gathering was legal or illegal. Halid Genjac told me that it was agreed that Izetbegović would contact him about everything. Bakir told me that he called him on Friday, but he did not answer, but that on Saturday he informed him that there would be a session of the Main Board – says Budnjo. In the end, Budnjo did not say whether he disputes the manner in which the session was held.

The vice-president of SDA, Adil Osmanović, also told NAP that Budnjo claimed that Tihić did not know about the Main Board session.

- Budnjo said that while the Main Board session was ongoing, he spoke with President Tihić and that he said he was not aware of the holding of that session. However, no one publicly denied this from the podium, not even Mr. Bakir Izetbegović. I really do not know whether Tihić knew about the session – said Osmanović.

He further stated that Tihić is currently feeling well and that in a telephone conversation, Tihić told him that he will start working in about 20 days.
