Let's Be Humane: Dževada Has Been Bedridden Since Birth, Needs Special Food and Medicine

 

Health is the most important thing! We often hear someone say that, but somehow we all take it for granted and until we face some health issue, we don't think much about it at all, reports the Patria news agency.

Health is something our Dževada has never had – born with a damaged spinal cord and never operated on because doctors gave her no chance of survival, and so for all her 37 years, Dževada has lived in the condition we see in the pictures.

All these years, Dževada's father was her greatest support and the one who cared for her the most, but fate had it that our Dževada, besides losing her health, lost her father a few months ago, who died suddenly, as can happen to any of us.

After her father's death, Dževada's life has become even harder, with her mother and brother taking care of her. In addition to a special diet, they must provide around 40 different tablets daily to prevent Dževada from having additional seizures and pain.

Some of these medications are Bosaurin 5mg, Voltaren suppositories 50mg, Cefalexin, Analgin, Kafetin, Tramadol, etc., and all of this costs a lot, so the help of all of us is more than needed.

Incidentally, we first became acquainted with Dževada's case two years ago, and in recent months we have helped her on several occasions, especially after her father's death. Anyone who is able should visit Dževada or any other patient who has been bedridden their entire life, and then we will appreciate ourselves and others around us more, and thereby become better people.
