Fast road in Blažuj to be opened for traffic tomorrow

(Patria) - Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton Adnan Šteta visited the works on the fast road in Blažuj today, where final works are being carried out on the reconstruction of the road in the section where the railway crossing is located.



Through the joint cooperation of the Ministry of Transport and the Directorate for Roads of KS with Ceste FBiH and Operator - Terminali d.o.o. Sarajevo, the project was initiated and is nearing completion.



- The reconstruction of the railway crossing in Blažuj was one of the most frequent requests from citizens to us, as that part of the road was of poor quality, inadequate, and unsafe.

I am pleased that we have initiated this project and that we are successfully implementing it. I thank all involved parties for their cooperation and I am happy that driving on this section will be more pleasant for all drivers - stated Šteta.



The road will be open for traffic tomorrow afternoon.

Minister Šteta was joined at the construction site visit by the Director of the Directorate for Roads of KS Selmir Kovač, and the Management of Operator - Terminali d.o.o. Sarajevo, consisting of Damir Kreso and Adrijana Zarinković.

The management emphasized the importance of this project for the connection of the railway with the Terminals.



The reconstruction of this railway crossing on the main road is the result of joint cooperation between various institutions and levels of government, with the ultimate goal of a safer and higher quality railway and road in this part of Sarajevo Canton.

The contractor is OZ pruga, and the supervision of the works is carried out by IPSA institut.
