Fast road to get an on-ramp in Osjek settlement

(Patria) - The start of works on the construction of a new on-ramp on the border of the local communities of Vrelo Bosne and Osjek represents an important step towards traffic infrastructure as well as facilitating everyday driving.

More than two years ago, an off-ramp from the fast road in the direction of Blažuj, the turn-off for Osjek, 650 meters long, was opened to traffic, an extremely important project for the residents of Ilidža, and especially for the inhabitants of the Osjek settlement.

The Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, stated that the importance of building an on-ramp was pointed out more than two years ago, all with the aim of reducing traffic jams through the center of Ilidža.

- Through planning and excellent cooperation with the Government of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, and the Directorate for Roads, extremely important projects have been realized or are still in the process of realization in the past period, and I sincerely believe that this one will be equally successful – Muzur emphasized.

The construction of the new on-ramp reminds us of the importance of planning and improving traffic infrastructure to ensure a sustainable future for our local community.
