Numerous tourists arrive in Neum for the weekend, here are the food and drink prices

(Patria) - In the coming days, temperatures in Bosnia and Herzegovina are expected to exceed 30 degrees Celsius, so many Bosnians and Herzegovinians have decided to spend the weekend in Neum and enjoy swimming in the sea.

Already in the morning hours, hundreds of bathers have refreshed themselves in the Adriatic, and the temperature at nine o'clock was already 23 degrees.

On the beaches of Neum this weekend, there will also be many tourists from Serbia, Russia, France, Hungary, Germany, Poland...

Caterers and hoteliers are satisfied with the visit, and a large influx of tourists is expected in the middle of the month.

- The weather forecast brought us good news and the apartments were immediately filled. We hope it will be sunny in the coming weeks and months and that the nice weather will continue in September. For our guests, we have additionally arranged our private beach this season, so they will truly enjoy it.

The completion of the Stolac-Neum main road last year greatly facilitated access to the only BiH town on the coast. Travel to Neum is now easier and much faster, and it will be even better when the almost one-kilometer-long Počitelj bridge is soon put into operation, together with the Počitelj – Zvirovići section, 11 kilometers long - says Nina Gabriel, manager of Villa Gabriel, one of the most luxurious and beautiful in Neum.

Hotels are mostly occupied by foreign guests, while domestic guests and the diaspora begin to arrive in larger numbers during the peak season. When it comes to private accommodation, a bed is in demand from the end of June.

In the next three months, a series of music, cultural and sports events will be held in Neum.

On the sports field in Meteriz, the fourth "Friendship Tournament" of HNK Neum is currently underway. The tournament lasts until Sunday, when awards will be given for the best four teams in each category.

Numerous catering establishments have arranged performances by famous singers from BiH and the region, so on the beach of the "Stella" hotel, a concert will be held by young regional star Adi Šoše.

One of the restaurants with the best cuisine and selection of seafood specialties in Neum for years has been Laguna.



- Year after year, Neum is progressing in every way. We hope there will be plenty of sunny days and that everyone will be able to truly enjoy the only BiH town on the Adriatic. 'Laguna' has a tradition of more than 20 years, and we nurture Mediterranean cuisine, with a special emphasis on fish and Italian specialties.

Of course, the menu also includes top-quality Bosnian specialties - says the owner and chef of Laguna, Dragan Njavro.

From June 24, Neum will also get its first hookah bar on the promenade of the "Sunce" hotel. It is known that hookahs are very popular among younger generations, and this information will surely please them.

The prices of food and drinks in catering establishments are slightly higher than last year, and depend on the establishment's decor and location.

Ten ćevapi with fries in grill-pizzerias are 15-16 KM, the same amount you have to pay for chicken fillet or pizza capricciosa.

The price of a hamburger is 13 KM, and in some establishments even 18 KM. Grilled squid is 24 KM. When it comes to drinks, espresso coffee is from 4 to 5 KM, draft beer from 5 to 9 KM, and a bottle of water is 3 KM. Renting a deck chair is 10 KM, and an umbrella is 5 KM per day.
