Numerous meetings in Sarajevo, Palmer also with leaders of opposition parties

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Special Representative for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer and US Ambassador Eric Nelson met with members of the Collegia of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

Palmer will also meet with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija and the entity prime ministers Fadil Novalić and Radovan Višković to discuss economic topics.

This afternoon, the American official will also hold a meeting with the leaders of three opposition parties Nermin Nikšić (SDP BiH), Predrag Kojović (Naša stranka), and Elmedin Konaković (Narod i pravda), who, together with Ibrahim Hadžibajrić's NBL, have formed a joint bloc in Sarajevo for the upcoming local elections.

Earlier, they were part of the KS Government, from which SBB and DF withdrew, and which had significant support from the US and was recognized as a new type of political action.
