A large number of friends, colleagues and politicians gathered today at Mirogoj for the final farewell to Kemal Monteno, Croatian media report, Patria reports.
Monteno was bid farewell by musicians and friends, and among those present were Danijela Martinović, Boris Novković, Mladen Grdović, Vlado Kalember, Željko Bebek and many others.
Tereza Kesovija nearly fainted at one point, and her colleagues held her up. Various politicians also appeared at Mirogoj to pay their respects to the great musician. Among those gathered were Milan Bandić, Ivo Josipović, Branko Ivanković, and a large number of others.
The eulogy was delivered by Rade Šerbedžija.
The commemoration in Sarajevo will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 in the Sarajevo National Theatre, and the burial is scheduled at the Bare cemetery in Sarajevo.
