Numerous guests at SDP Congress: Krivokapić, Čanak, Komšić, Šarović...

Numerous guests from the region will attend the Congress of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of BiH, to be held on October 3, 2015, in the Mirza Delibašić Hall, including Ranko Krivokapić, President of SDP Montenegro and the Parliament of Montenegro, Nenad Čanak, leader of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, and many others, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

As Damir Mašić, member of the SDP Presidency, told Patria, numerous politicians from BiH will also attend the Congress, and Željko Komšić, president of DF, and Mirko Šarović, member of the SDS Presidency, have announced their arrival.

From 10 AM to 12 PM, speeches by guests, as well as by SDP President Nermin Nikšić, are planned.

Otherwise, 859 delegates will participate in the work of the Congress, and they will elect a new convocation of the Main and Supervisory Board, and the Statute and Program of SDP BiH will be amended.

At the Congress itself, the start of the mandate of the President of SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić will be formalized, after he was elected in the elections on September 20 using the "One member-one vote" system with 12,883 votes.

The 110 members of the Main Board will elect the vice-presidents of the SDP, the Presidency, and the general secretary.

The Main Board of SDP BiH previously adopted the text of the Draft Statute of the party, which will be forwarded to the delegates of the Congress for adoption, as well as the Draft of the Innovated Program of SDP BiH, which will be submitted to the delegates.
