Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić was arrested last night after a months-long complex criminal investigation related to illegal actions in the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Holding, and social media are full of comments about this arrest, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Messages of support are coming from all sides from those who are convinced that he is the best mayor Zagreb has ever had, and this morning a photo was posted from the Zagreb market where Bandić is buying candles, which was taken yesterday morning.
In addition to photos, numerous friends and acquaintances are writing messages to Bandić, and one of them is "Mile has endured worse... communists and their last gasp" - it says on Bandić's profile.
