
(Patria) - Numerous delegations, after the commemoration for the victims of the Srebrenica genocide, laid white lilies at the memorial stone.
In addition to BiH politicians and delegations from all levels of government, flowers were also laid by numerous ambassadors, and guests from the countries of the region.
Today, 14 victims of the genocide will be buried in Potočari.
Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community (IZ) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein-ef. Kavazović visited the coffins of 14 genocide victims at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center and offered condolences to the families.
Former Reisul-ulema Mustafa-ef. Cerić, muftis, chief imam of the Srebrenica Islamic Community Council Damir-ef. Peštalić, and other representatives of the Islamic Community also offered condolences to the families.
The funeral prayer for the victims of the genocide will be led by Reisul-ulema Kavazović today after the noon and afternoon prayers.
The youngest victim to be buried this year is seventeen-year-old Beriz Mujić, born in 1978 in Zvornik. He will be buried next to his brother Hazim, who was buried in 2013. Their father Omer was also killed in the genocide. The oldest victim to be buried is Hamed Salić, born in 1927. He was 68 years old when he disappeared in the summer of 1995.
