Numerous congratulations on the occasion of April 15th, the Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On the occasion of April 15th, the Day of the Army of the RBiH, numerous congratulations from officials are arriving. SBB President Fahrudin Radončić congratulated members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, families of martyrs and fallen soldiers, disabled war veterans, demobilized soldiers and veterans of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all citizens, on April 15th.

"Army Day reminds us of all the brave and honorable soldiers who, with their honorable efforts, defeated evil, defended our homeland from aggression, and brought peace and freedom to our people. With special respect, we remember the fallen members of the Army who gave the most valuable thing for their homeland, their lives. This is an opportunity to express our selfless support to their families and our firm commitment to continue building Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country of order, prosperity, and equal citizens, for which we fought together in the most difficult period of its glorious history."

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Bećirović said that today is a day when we proudly remember the best sons and daughters of Bosnia and Herzegovina who honorably and heroically defended the sovereignty and independence of our only homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a unified state of equal citizens and peoples.

"On this day, 27 years ago, by the Decision of the Presidency of BiH, the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was formed as the only legal and legitimate military force of the state of RBiH, which, in the most difficult circumstances of barbaric aggression against our homeland, heroically defended the constitutional order of RBiH, writing the most honorable pages in the thousand-year history of BiH. With special reverence and respect, we remember the martyrs, fallen, missing, and deceased soldiers, their families, disabled war veterans, demobilized soldiers, and all patriots who contributed to the defense of our only homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I congratulate all former members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 15th, the Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina," reads the congratulatory message from the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Bećirović.

"It was the only legal and legitimate military formation that defended the state and its constitutional order. The Army of the Republic of BiH was multi-ethnic in its character and essence, and its just struggle will be inscribed in golden letters in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is one of the most significant dates in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because with the founding of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the constant struggle of its members, heroes who defended the state, we live freely today and continue the fight in peace against those who still try to violate the sovereignty and integrity of our only Bosnia and Herzegovina. For all those who gave their lives for the defense of the homeland, but also for their families and future generations, we are obliged to keep April 15th from being forgotten and to persevere in the fight against all evils that are imposed upon us in peacetime."
