Numerous activities on the mountains this weekend

Ski lifts BX, K1 (cradle), baby lifts, triple chairlift, helipad  and BY as needed will be operational in Babin do on Bjelašnica today. Night skiing on Bjelašnica is every day except Sunday from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The snow depth in Babin do on Bjelašnica is currently 120 cm, and the temperature is -1°C. The snow cover depth at the top of Bjelašnica is 248 cm, while the temperature is -5°C.

Baby lifts will be operational at Mali polje on Igman, while the cross-country skiing trail will be in use at Veliko polje. The current snow depth at Mali polje on Igman is 70 cm, and the temperature is -1°C.

On Saturday, the "BALLANTINE'S SNOW FOOTBALL CUP" tournament will be held on the football field in Babin do on Bjelašnica from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

This is an attractive new project on the snow, specifically the first tournament of its kind in our region, representing a true snow attraction and aiming to promote winter tourism and our tourism potentials.

Twelve teams representing cafes will participate in the tournament, divided into four groups where the top teams will play in the semi-finals, and the winners of the semi-finals will play the match for the tournament championship.

Winning teams will receive prizes, and a Snow Party will be organized during the tournament. In addition to snow football, teams and the audience will be entertained by DJ JUNG B with promotional drink prices.

Today, a skiing competition for healthcare workers from BiH in the giant slalom discipline will be held on Jahorina, while tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, the Open Championship of SPD Jahorina and the Open Championship of Republika Srpska will take place.
