Sadness, pain, sobbing, but also a painful silence hung over those present at the funeral prayer and burial, as everyone tried to pay their respects to Erdoan quietly, through prayer, whispers, or a clenched fist.
Many stood shoulder to shoulder with the family, who are devastated by grief.
At the memorial service held before the funeral prayer, it was stated that Erdoan believed in the beauty of the world and the goodness of people, and that he was a very talented young artist and painter who could have offered much to the Bosnian community and beyond.
Erdoan is survived by his father Arman, mother Edina, brother Ardijan, and many other family members and friends.
We remind you that his life was cut short on February 12th after a tragic tram accident in Sarajevo, when a tram derailed, then went over part of the tram station and ended up on the main road.
The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has proposed a one-month detention measure for the tram driver, and the investigation is ongoing.
In the accident, 17-year-old Ella Jovanović was also seriously injured, and doctors had to amputate her leg the same day. Ella was awakened from an induced coma yesterday, but her health condition remains serious and requires constant medical supervision.
