Yesterday's search through the wilderness of the Podmajec village of Rašljani near Brčko did not yield positive results in the search for the missing young man (22) and his sister, aged 5, it has been confirmed by several individuals who participated in the operation, reports the Patria News Agency.
The Brčko District Police confirmed to BN TV that the search resumed this morning, but there have been no results so far. The young man is a person with special needs.
- We expected to find them today. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We set up about ten ambushes, but instead of finding them, we came to the conclusion that this could turn into a great tragedy, said one of the participants in the search.
When asked what kind of tragedy he meant, he said:
- We did not notice any movement from them today, we fear they are not alive.
The engagement of a helicopter unit of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the arrival of the Mountain Rescue Service from Mostar, is expected.
