Brazilian Ambassador to BiH Jose Augusto Lindgren Alves left Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday after his three-and-a-half-year term expired, confirmed the BiH news agency Patria from the Brazilian Embassy in Sarajevo.
Ambassador Alves was a regular guest at the matches of the BiH national team, and he did not hide his enthusiasm for BiH qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil. He also emphasized how wonderful it was to be present on the streets of Sarajevo while celebrating the trip to Brazil, and how it was particularly emotional for him to see the Brazilian flags that the fans were carrying.
During his work, from the day BiH qualified for Brazil, Jose Augusto became a favorite figure in the media, and he regularly reported on the situation in Brazil, as well as providing all the necessary information for those who would travel to Brazil.
