Branko Blanuša elected SDS president

(Patria) - Branko Blanuša is the new president of SDS, it was decided at today's Assembly session, confirmed for Vijesti.ba.

Blanuša was the only candidate for this position after achieving a good result in the early elections held for the president of RS.

The Central Election Commission made a decision to annul the early elections for the president of RS in 17 electoral units at 136 polling stations. If the Appellate Division rejects the appeals and confirms the CEC's decision, then elections will be called at those polling stations, which leaves the possibility for Blanuša to get more votes than Siniša Karan.

Blanuša has a built academic career and is a full professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka.
