Branislav Borenović is the new president of PDP

Today, the 7th PDP Congress was held in Banja Luka, where the new party president was elected. Branislav Borenović was elected to replace the long-time president Mladen Ivanić, writes the BH News Agency Patria. He thanked everyone for their support.

Ivanić decided not to run for president, stating that it was time to hand over the party leadership to younger individuals, but that he would remain very active in politics, given that he is also a member of the Presidency of BiH. He will remain the honorary president of PDP.

Members of the Main Board were also elected, and a report on PDP's work between the two congresses was considered.

Numerous politicians attended the Congress, including Ognjen Tadić from SDS, Dragan Čavić from NDP, and representatives of SNS from Serbia.
