Branimir Glavaš urgently transferred to hospital

Branimir Glavaš has, as reported by dnevnik.hr, ended up in hospital. Namely, he has not eaten or drunk for four days, which is why he was urgently transferred to the Prison Hospital in Zagreb's Svetošimunska Street. He is in poor condition, reports the Patria News Agency.

Let us recall, Glavaš was brought to the Remetinec investigation prison on Thursday. He was arrested after the Supreme Court's decision to order his pre-trial detention. At the time, he announced on Facebook that he would begin a hunger strike.

- My lawyers will continue to lead the further legal battle, and unfortunately, I am left with the only way to fight and protest against ten years of continuous violations of civil and human rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia and international conventions - a hunger strike, which I am starting at this very moment, or rather, upon my sixth arrest - he wrote on Facebook on March 5.

Branimir Glavaš was preliminarily convicted of war crimes against the civilian population in Osijek in 1991.
