
Chief Prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal Serge Brammertz, who is on a three-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, spoke today with students of the Faculty of Law in Zenica, where he discussed contemporary challenges facing international criminal justice, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Brammertz, who is also a lawyer, said he is pleased to address students of the Faculty of Law, as they are a generation that will be very important for the country.
The Chief Prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal is in Bosnia and Herzegovina from March 16 to 18 and will visit Sarajevo, Zenica and Banja Luka.
The purpose of the chief Hague prosecutor's visit to BiH is meetings with judicial authorities at the entity level and discussion of processes related to war crimes they are conducting. During his last visit to Sarajevo in November 2014, he told the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Goran Salihović, that he expects the arrest of 64 persons suspected of war crimes in BiH.
During his visit to BiH, the prosecutor will also meet with presidents of supreme courts, chief prosecutors and directors of training centers for judiciary and prosecutors of the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska.
Brammertz will also meet with representatives of several victims' associations in Zenica and Banja Luka. In addition to Zenica, the prosecutor is also expected to speak with students of the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo, writes NAP.
