Bradarić or Borić: SDP candidates for the BiH Presidency member?

In two days, the Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP) should make a final decision on who will be their candidate for the BiH Presidency member, writes the news agency Patria. As NAP learns, the SDP will definitely nominate a Bosniak, and two names are reportedly being discussed: Besima Borić, a representative from the Federal Parliament, and Mehmed Bradarić, a delegate in the House of Peoples (PSBiH).

Namely, after Denis Bećirović rejected the proposal to be a candidate, the party leadership started thinking again about nominating someone for the Croatian member of the Presidency.

However, Lidija Korać and Anto Domazet will ultimately not get the chance, as during the talks, SDP leaders abandoned the idea of obstructing Croats from choosing their legitimate representative this year, as they did in the previous two general elections by nominating Željko Komšić.

Thus, it will finally be known on Saturday whether Besima Borić will be the SDP's candidate, which some consider positive because she is a woman, or Bradarić, who has gained considerable sympathy during his four years of activity in the BiH Parliament, acting in the Bosniak Caucus of the House of Peoples of PSBiH.
