Mamić brothers can be released on bail of 11 million kuna

The non-trial panel of the County Court in Zagreb decided to accept the bail for Zdravko and Zoran Mamić, and Damir Vrbanović, reports the Patria News Agency.

However, the court raised the bail amounts they must pay if they wish to be released from Remetinec. Zdravko Mamić must pay seven million kuna in bail, Zoran Mamić four million, and Vrbanović one million kuna.

Originally, the Mamić brothers offered Zoran's house, valued at around 20 million kuna, as collateral, but the court rejected it. They then switched to cash: Zdravko offered five million, and Zoran Mamić two million kuna in bail. Vrbanović originally offered 500,000 kuna.

Mamići and Vrbanović can be released from custody as soon as they pay the bail into the court's account. Their lawyers have already started collecting the necessary funds, writes Index.
