Christmas gathering at the Healthy Aging Centers in Novo Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On January 8 this year, a gathering was held at the premises of the Healthy Aging Center Novo Sarajevo in Hrasno to mark Orthodox Christmas.

The gathering was attended by municipal mayor Nedžad Koldžo, who extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to the center's members who celebrate this holiday. He announced that soon, another center in the Čengić Vila neighborhood will be available to senior citizens.

Those present were also addressed by Minela Ferić, manager of the Healthy Aging Center Novo Sarajevo, and Biljana Oklobdžija, who informed attendees about Christmas customs.

As in previous years, members of the Healthy Aging Center prepared traditional Christmas cookies for this occasion, which were enjoyed by all present, along with a cake provided by the municipal mayor.

With music, singing, dancing, and a tasting of holiday treats, the Christmas gathering was also organized at the Healthy Aging Center in Velešići.
