On the occasion of the upcoming major Catholic holiday of Christmas, the Municipality of Centar today held a traditional reception for members of ten families of fallen soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina of Catholic faith, announced from this municipality, writes Patria.
On this occasion, a symbolic cash donation from the Municipality of Centar was presented to the attending members of the veterans' families as a small token of appreciation.
Among those present at the reception was Mara Livaja, who lost her husband Ivan during the past war in the ranks of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"I have been coming here for the Christmas reception for many years, and I want to thank the Municipality of Centar for remembering us in this way. This is a nice gesture that makes us very happy. We are glad that we are not forgotten and that there is someone who thinks of us," said Livaja.
