Christmas Reception: Cordial meeting between Schmidt and Cvijanović, Krišto calls for a peaceful, dignified, and happy life for every individual

(Patria) - The traditional Christmas reception in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH was organized by the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto.

Many representatives and actors from political, religious, public, and diplomatic life in BiH attended the reception.

Among the guests were the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt, member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović, Ambassador of the United States of America to BiH Michael J. Murphy, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation and EU Special Representative in BiH Johann Sattler, Director of the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) of BiH Zoran Tegeltija, Deputy President of Republika Srpska Ćamil Duraković….

Also present were members of the Federal Government, the Council of Ministers of BiH, the leadership of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, and others.

Interestingly, Schmidt and Željka Cvijanović had a close encounter, and their cordial greeting was captured by a vijesti.ba photojournalist.

The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, took the opportunity to most cordially greet those present on behalf of the Croatian political representatives in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and sincerely wish them welcome.

Therefore, our Christmas gatherings have become part of that community. I believe that all of us here, regardless of our origin, faith, and nationality – carry within us the desire to do good, to foster tolerance and mutual respect. This is an opportunity for all of us to improve our intentions and actions towards others in order to continue working in the service of the common good. This is especially important for our country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is blessed with diversity. In these days, we especially sympathize with those who are torn from the warmth of their homes, with those who are innocently dying, with the hungry and the sick. May this gathering also be a message of peace, that we advocate for a peaceful, dignified, and happy life for every individual,” said Krišto.
