(Patria) - The Christmas Bazaar, organized by employees of the German Embassy Sarajevo, will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the German Embassy building, at the address Skenderija 3.
Visitors can expect a diverse offer of traditional culinary specialties such as Christmas cookies, mulled wine, German grilled sausages, as well as a tombola with valuable prizes. As part of the bazaar, representatives of local initiatives with whom the Embassy closely collaborates will present their products and handicrafts. Numerous partners of the German Embassy will also support the bazaar with their participation and donations.
All collected funds will be directed to charitable purposes. In addition to its humanitarian aspect, the Christmas Bazaar is also known for its pleasant festive atmosphere and socializing. Three children's choirs - "Superar", "Kinderhaus", and "Kleine Deutsche Schule" - will take care of the musical ambiance, performing well-known Christmas songs.
The bazaar will be opened at 11:00 AM by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Thomas Fitschen, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and welcoming remarks.
