Bosniak children in Nova Kasaba started school, but funds for teaching are not secured!

This morning, classes began at the Educational Center in Nova Kasaba for 125 children from Konjević Polje, Nihada Čolić, coordinator of instructional teaching for students from Konjević Polje, confirmed to Patria.

This is the fourth year that classes have been organized for Bosniak children who could not study the Bosnian language and national group of subjects in schools in the RS. The project includes the Ministry of Education of KS, the Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees of FBiH, and the Ministry of Education and Science of FBiH.

As Patria learns, the Ministry of Refugees has allocated certain funds for student transportation, and the Minister of Education of FBiH, Elvira Dilberović (SDA), has not responded regarding the start of classes at the Educational Center, so teachers coming from Sarajevo for classes are still without information on whether there will be funds for teaching.

Parents of children from Konjević Polje state that they will not return to an education system that imposes teaching without a national group of subjects.
