The Club of Delegates of Bosniak people in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska will hold a press conference today at 12 PM to present the problems Bosniaks face in the smaller BiH entity, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Mujo Hadžiomerović, a delegate in the National Assembly of RS, previously told the Patria agency that Bosniaks experience daily discrimination in Republika Srpska in all spheres of public life, starting from employment in the public sector to the right to education and the distribution of the common budget.
The persecution of Bosniaks from RS is particularly evident, Hadžiomerović said, through the adoption of a set of laws related to immovable property in this entity, which aim to seize thousands of dunams of Bosniak land and thereby carry out ethnic cleansing of Bosniaks, meaning the new laws in RS aim to implement the memorandum of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
- It is high time for Bosniaks to stand up and stop the persecution from Republika Srpska - said Hažiomerović.
The press conference will be held in the old building of the Government of Republika Srpska, reports Patria.
