Lately, people stop me and ask: ˝Professor, what is happening, will there be war again?˝ I don't know what to answer myself - sometimes I think yes, sometimes no.
I have thought about it for a long time and the answer has become very clear. For twenty years, people have been talking about three nations, their differences, all the bad things they did to each other. They talk about the colors they are painted, so some are green, some blue, and some red. What can you do, people like it colorful.
Some of them believe in Allah, some in God, and some don't believe at all.
Some speak Bosnian, others Serbian, third Croatian, and yet most speak Serbo-Croatian.
Some write in Latin, others in Cyrillic, and there are those who use both scripts, there are even those who read both scripts but are literate in only one. Ultimately, there are those who are literate and those who are illiterate.
Some are rural, some urban, and some "rurban", observing them by origin and worldview.
The truth is that Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats live in Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, these are only approximate differences that form the basis for identifying much more important differences, which we will address below.
By gender and age, among Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats, we distinguish two categories of people - politicians and others.
By employment, they are divided into politicians, pensioners, and the unemployed.
By honesty, people in BiH are again divided into politicians and criminals.
There are a few thousand politicians, around 300,000 with their families, and the rest are all outright criminals, idlers, and other categories described with negative epithets.
We will not be mistaken if we say that there are several million criminals. Their names are recorded in various criminal records, e.g., the database of the Employment Institute, the Ministry for Refugees and Displaced Persons, various veterans' associations, lists of missing persons, etc.
By opportunities, they are divided into those in power and those on the streets; by wealth - into rich and poor.
Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats are also divided into CLEAN and UNCLEAN. The latter division is most important in answering the question at the beginning of this text. Who are the CLEAN, and who are the UNCLEAN? The differences are subtle but very significant. From a distance, on the horizon, it is impossible to distinguish the former from the latter; only when an unobtrusive observer approaches, so as not to scare them, so they do not become suspicious and change their natural behavior, is it possible to distinguish them.
Among the CLEAN, clothing, footwear, and jewelry bear the signatures of Donna Karan, Christian Dior, Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Gucci, Prada, Camel, Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Brioni, Versace, and the like. At the same time, the UNCLEAN are uniform because their clothing, footwear, and jewelry bear the inscription Made in China.
However, observation is not enough to determine whether an individual is CLEAN or UNCLEAN; it is also necessary to listen to their speech. The CLEAN use phrases such as: official car, mobile phone, travel, commission work fee, bonus, budget, membership in a management or supervisory board, director, advisor, minister, president, renovation, 100+ square meters of residential or commercial space (depending on what troubles them) and other words written in "holy books".
On the other hand, the UNCLEAN use phrases like: expensive, I don't have it, bills, wages, in installments, unemployed, tenant, loan, God willing, and the like.
When we consider temporary and seasonal migrations, the CLEAN migrate to Paris, Barcelona, Washington, Antalya, the French Riviera, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, London, and other adventurous destinations reached by planes or luxury ships. The UNCLEAN, wisely, do not migrate anywhere, perhaps to a destination reachable on foot.
In such conditions created by the UNCLEAN, it is difficult to remain CLEAN while preserving one's health. Even when we look at monuments of culture, for example, cemeteries and graveyards, there are hundreds of thousands of monuments to the UNCLEAN, and only a few to the CLEAN; they are even forced to find peace in the courtyard of a mosque, church, or in a private arrangement in a secluded place.
If we consider the key historical events, the UNCLEAN have taken all the glory; it is so great that it had to be expressed in collective terms such as fallen soldiers, martyrs, civilian victims of war, while the CLEAN are forced to be individually rewarded with misery: Golden Lily, Golden Police Badge, Order of Nemanjić, Order of the Croatian Trefoil. Among them are those who were lucky enough to receive multiple decorations, which helps them live with mental pain. However, many of the UNCLEAN, in addition to the glory they have seized for themselves, have also been adorned with decorations, further humiliating the CLEAN.
There is no end to the humiliation - the CLEAN are still forced today to fight, to take state resources, fill jobs, privatize, build, and find ways to get by, because the UNCLEAN are absolutely uninterested in any positive social activity. They are only interested in the opportunity to seize collective glory again, so they rejoice at a new war and further humiliation of the CLEAN. They have even gone so far as to establish the institution of the state prosecutor's office and court through which they attack the CLEAN, attack their honestly acquired property, trying to convince them that war is the only way out.
There are few CLEAN people who can resist the opportunism of the UNCLEAN who want to go to war. Things look grim for us if the UNCLEAN continue with lies, with fabricated trials, with questioning nepotism, corruption, embezzlement, money laundering, and other legal activities that the CLEAN engage in.
