Bosniaks return to Srebrenica only in coffins! More buried than voted in 2012

Bosniaks are returning to Srebrenica more in coffins than based on the implementation of Dayton Annex 7, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP). Every July 11th, several hundred or tens of murdered Bosniaks are buried in the cemetery.

According to available data, more have returned to this city in this manner than have returned to their renovated houses and stayed to live there, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Namely, 6,066 victims of genocide have been buried in the Potočari Memorial Center so far. Today, 175 more victims identified so far will be added to that number.

However, the fact that only 4,455 Bosniak returnees voted for Ćamil Duraković, the Bosniak candidate for mayor, in the last local elections in Srebrenica sounds shocking!

This means that 1,200 more Bosniaks have been buried in Potočari so far than had the right to vote in the 2012 local elections. And, it should be taken into account that many of those who had the right to participate in the elections are still not able to fully return to their homes in Srebrenica, reports NAP.
