Bosniaks Expelled from SIPA Leadership, But Nobody Cares!

Although it was more intensely discussed last year that there were almost no Bosniaks in leading positions in the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), elections and the current political situation have pushed this problem into the background, writes the Patria News Agency.

The head of this agency, Goran Zubac, is awaiting a verdict and is accused of dereliction of duty, yet he continues to work unimpeded throughout the process, despite not having access to classified information.

Thus, a narrower Collegium of SIPA directors was recently held, attended by Director Goran Zubac, Deputy Director Đuro Knežević, Assistant Director for the Criminal Investigation Department Anđelko Hrgić, Head of the Sector for Planning, Analytics, Cooperation and Information Ernad Musić, acting Commander of the Special Support Unit Jovica Mirosavljević, and Head of the Operational Support Sector Zoran Glušac.

Therefore, it is evident that among those present, there was only one Bosniak, and he heads a department that does not have a significant role, so the MPs and delegates of the BiH Parliament will have to quickly get involved in the election and leadership of SIPA.

The fact that there is no place for Bosniaks in this institution is also indicated by the fact that after Mirsad Vilić left the position of Commander of the Special Support Unit, this position was given to the Serb Jovica Mirosavljević, better known as Chetniks. It is also known that MPs from the previous convocation of the House of Representatives wanted to seek the dismissal of the Independent Board of the BiH Parliament, which did not suspend Zubac due to criminal prosecution.

Given that they did not react in this case when they were legally and by regulation obliged to send Zubac on leave, it is not surprising that they have not reacted to this obvious "persecution" of Bosniaks from SIPA until now.
