Bosnić expecting his 18th child, will the Court release him from custody because of it?

Today, the trial of Husein Bilal Bosnić continued at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is charged with the criminal offense of public incitement to terrorist activities in connection with the criminal offense of recruitment for terrorist activities and organizing a terrorist group, reports the Patria news agency.

Prosecution witnesses Hasaga Crljenković and Muharem Borovac stated that their sons' departure to Syria has nothing to do with the accused Bosnić.

Bosnić's lawyer Adil Lozo proposed that his client's custody not be extended and that restrictive measures be imposed. As an argument, he cited the fact that Bosnić is the father of 17 children, and that one of his four wives is in the ninth month of pregnancy.

The prosecution opposed this proposal, but it will still be considered.

The continuation of the trial is scheduled for March 4.

Bosnić was arrested at the beginning of the year in a police operation codenamed Damascus.
