Bosnalijek donates to the Association 'Heart for Children with Cancer'

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Representatives of Bosnalijek, the largest domestic manufacturer of medicines and pharmaceutical products, as part of the celebration of the company's 70th anniversary, presented a donation
to the Association “Heart for Children with Cancer“.

In addition to financial resources, disinfectants and product packages with food supplements and vitamins were also donated, intended for all children currently staying in the Parent's House managed by the association, as well as for children for whom this association provides support during intensive hospital treatment.

Fikret Kubat, director of the Association “Heart for Children with Cancer“, thanked Bosnalijek for the donation intended to support the work of the Parent's House, and especially for the gifts for the little heroes whom the association helps in their fight for recovery. He also emphasized that this represents a continuation of the successful cooperation between Bosnalijek and the association, which has been ongoing for a longer period.

During their visit to the Association, Bosnalijek representatives were informed about the current activities being carried out, with a special focus on the commencement of the construction of the Parent's House in Tuzla, which is expected to begin construction next year.

The need to ensure a systemic funding mechanism for the Parent's House in Sarajevo, as well as the future one in Tuzla, which represents a second home for sick children and their families, was jointly emphasized, so that their work does not depend on the goodwill of anyone.

Bosnalijek expressed its readiness to continue supporting the Association “Heart for Children with Cancer“ in fulfilling its mission, which is unique in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the desire to provide maximum help and relief to children and families who are fighting the most difficult life challenges.
