Bosnalijek has been a partner of SOS Children's Villages for 13 years

By signing the Donation Agreement worth 32,000 KM between Bosnalijek and SOS Children's Villages BiH, a long-standing friendship has been continued, ensuring coverage of annual costs for food, clothing, footwear, school supplies, and hygiene products for an SOS family with seven children, it was announced from SOS Children's Villages BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Nedim Uzunović, Director of the Company, and Amir Omanović, Director of SOS Children's Villages BiH, signed the Donation Agreement for 2015, but Bosnalijek has been ensuring the highest quality care for children living in the SOS family of mother Fikreta for 13 consecutive years.

- I am very proud that Bosnalijek is a long-standing friend, a partner of the SOS Children's Village and a supporter of the Janje family, and that it shows its sensitivity and responsibility for the development of the wider community in which it lives and operates in this way. In 2014, Bosnalijek achieved record profits in its operations, with total sales revenue amounting to 120 million KM, representing a growth of 21 percent compared to last year. We are happy that we are able to share our success with people, institutions, and organizations that truly need support. Therefore, our success is worth much more. Children are our greatest treasure, our future. Investing in the healthy and carefree lives of our children is also an investment in the development of our society. Their success is also our success - said Uzunović.

Amir Osmanović, Director of SOS Children's Villages BiH, said that this friendship is invaluable.

- Every parent knows what is materially necessary to provide for a child throughout their life, and we want to provide children with that necessary security and family love. Our family care model involves continuous and long-term support for children, and friends like Bosnalijek enable us to fulfill our mission in the best possible way. In these 13 years, we have celebrated children's birthdays together, seen them graduate, enroll in universities, rejoiced in them starting their own families... Bosnalijek stopped being a donor to us a long time ago; Bosnalijek is part of our family - stated Osmanović.

Thanks to Bosnalijek's support during 13 years of friendship, a happy and carefree childhood has been enabled for fourteen children who grew up in the SOS family of mother Fikreta, as well as the successful independence of young people. In addition to covering the family's annual costs, Bosnalijek provided scholarships for the children, internships within the company, and employees and members of the company's Management Board celebrated the children's birthdays and provided support for all major and important events in the way that the best friends do.
