Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Armenia at Grbavica 2:1

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is playing against Armenia at Grbavica in the 1st round of the qualifiers for the European Championship 2020.

The Dragons took the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by Krunić, and in the 80th minute, Džeko crossed from the right side via Višća, after which Milošević scored from the goalmouth for 2:0! The Armenians scored from a penalty in the second minute of stoppage time.

BiH is in qualifying Group J, which, besides Armenia, also includes Finland, Greece, Liechtenstein, and Italy.

UEFA has decided that Euro 2020 will be played in multiple cities across Europe, thus marking the 60th anniversary of the Old Continent championship.

BiH captain Edin Džeko is playing his hundredth match for the national team tonight. He made his first appearance for BiH on July 2, 2007, at Koševo against Turkey, when he also scored his first goal.

"It is certainly a special match for me because it is the jubilee hundredth, at my stadium where I started my career. It will surely be an additional motivation for me to play this hundredth match the best I have so far, and I am sure it will be even more enjoyable if we manage to win in the end," said Džeko before today's match.
