Bosnia and Herzegovina draped in gold, humanitarian race/walk on September 15 in Visoko

(Patria) - The association "Heart for Children with Cancer" has officially launched this year's Golden September campaign – a month to raise awareness about childhood cancer.

We started the campaign symbolically, by illuminating significant buildings and landmarks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year, we projected a golden ribbon in Sarajevo onto the Academy of Fine Arts and the Building of Friendship between Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The golden ribbon is a symbol of the fight against childhood cancer. This is now a traditional activity through which we draw the attention of the social community to the issue of malignant diseases in children and the importance of involving the entire society in supporting this marginalized social group.

This will not be an ordinary Golden September. This is the month when we run the race of life, when the entire social community will express its solidarity with children suffering from cancer. A time when we will all have the opportunity to show our support and send a strong message to our little ones, that they are not alone. That we are ready to stand by them in the biggest race, the race for life, the Association announced.

The humanitarian race/walk "Golden Circle Sparkasse" will be held on September 15 in Visoko.
