Bosnia and Herzegovina can be a very promising country

Martin Raguž, president of HDZ 1990, told the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) that he expects political parties that received the most votes in the last General Elections in BiH to form a government as soon as possible, because Bosnia and Herzegovina has no more time to wait.

Raguž, who was also one of the candidates for the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency in the last elections, said that he does not want to burden the ongoing negotiations on the formation of government in BiH, but he hopes that the parties with the most votes are aware that they now bear the greatest responsibility for changing the negative situation in the country, for opening the Euro-Atlantic path for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for restoring trust in institutions. And, Raguž said, this is entirely possible if there is the will and knowledge.

- It is certainly possible to live in this country – Raguž told NAP.

- HDZ 1990 will support everything that contributes to the establishment of a fast and efficient government in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We believe it is time for responsible policies – he added.

In the last few days, negotiations between political parties that received the most votes in the elections on October 12 have intensified in BiH.

Although it took about 18 months to form a government four years ago, party leaders, primarily Dragan Čović (HDZ BiH), have announced that the government could be formed around the New Year this time.

Bakir Izetbegović (SDA) and Dragan Čović, after a meeting held on Tuesday in Sarajevo, said that the basis for forming the new government will be SDA and HDZ BiH, at all levels, writes NAP.
