Bosnia and Herzegovina has lost a statesman

“Bosnia and Herzegovina has lost a statesman, an important factor of its political life and history”, said Ambassador Jonathan Moore, Head of the OSCE Mission in BiH, expressing regret on the occasion of the death of Sulejman Tihić, reports the BiH news agency Patria.  

“Over the years, we met in Šamac, Prud and Sarajevo. I knew him personally and valued him as a persistent, yet modest person”, Moore emphasized in a message of condolence to the family, friends and associates of Sulejman Tihić.

“I often witnessed examples of his dedication. Through his work, he showed that willingness to compromise is not a weakness, but a strength. This will be missed in the political life of BiH”.
