Bosić must pay Dodik 6,000 KM: Republika Srpska must be taken from the hands of those who plundered it

The president of the Serbian Democratic Party, Mladen Bosić, received a verdict on Wednesday from the Basic Court in Banja Luka following a lawsuit filed by Milorad Dodik, in which judge Snježana Savić accepted the findings of a neuropsychiatric expert regarding Milorad Dodik's severe psychological state, allegedly caused by the statement that he stole millions, the SDS announced, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- The verdict includes six thousand KM in fines and two thousand four hundred KM in court costs. Without disputing the expert's findings on Dodik's neuropsychiatric problems, it is quite certain that the cause of their occurrence is not my statement. This outcome of the dispute was expected, given that the judge initially dismissed all my witnesses, and did not accept any request for the court to seek the submission of original documentation from institutions that refused to do so at the request of the defendant - says Bosić.

Bosić emphasizes that the verdict did not take into consideration any evidence from the abundant documentation on crime and corruption in Republika Srpska for which Milorad Dodik is directly or indirectly responsible, from discrepancies in income and assets in property records, to numerous scandals.

- The judge bases her verdict on the claim that Milorad Dodik did not steal because he has not been legally convicted, although I have never claimed that Dodik has been legally convicted, but that he stole millions - states Bosić, adding that this does not mean that the rule of law will not prevail in the near future and that the crime of the top leadership will not have a judicial epilogue, for which it is necessary for the judiciary to operate independently in accordance with the law.

Despite the court's decision, Bosić stated that Milorad Dodik is responsible for millions of KM in crime through which Republika Srpska was plundered, and that through abuse of office, negligent business practices, trading political influence, and in other ways, he and other related persons have gained illegal financial benefits in millions of amounts.

He emphasizes that he will persevere in the fight to take Republika Srpska away from the hands of gangsters who are ready to do anything to keep the enormous wealth created by the plunder of Republika Srpska.

- Corruption has reached such proportions because the corrupt part of the judiciary punishes those who point it out, and protects major criminals who are infiltrated at the very top of institutions. It is not the hidden intention of corrupt politicians to silence witnesses and those who point to crime in Republika Srpska by abusing the judicial system, and time will tell whether the gangsters or the rule of law have won. At this moment, the gangsters are winning, and it is our duty to change that fact for the sake of the future of Republika Srpska - concluded the president of the Serbian Democratic Party, Mladen Bosić.
