Bosansko Grahovo: 258 kg of cut tobacco seized

Officers of the Strmica Border Police Unit on February 4, 2015, prevented the smuggling of 258 kilograms of cut tobacco without excise stamps, which was temporarily seized, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The tobacco was discovered during a border check of a passenger motor vehicle Mercedes, with BiH license plates, in the border area in the municipality of Bosansko Grahovo.

At the time of the inspection, the vehicle was driven by P. I. (1967), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who did not possess documentation on the origin of the goods. The duty prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office was informed of the incident, who ordered the tobacco to be temporarily seized and a report on the committed criminal offense of "illegal trade in excise goods" to be submitted.
