Bosnian Academic Society Enters Second Phase of Preparations for Recognition of Bosnian National Minority

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Bosnian Academic Society in Austria is entering the next phase of preparations for submitting a request for the recognition of the BOSNIAN national minority in Austria.

After last year's information campaign, during which a large number of Bosnians in Austria and around the world learned about this project, the most important for us in Austria on the path to preserving identity, this year we have begun developing a comprehensive study on Bosnians in Austria.

Students Amina Terzić (Political Science) and Adnan Kovačević (Law student) are working on the study, which is expected to be completed this year.

The students have been provided with strategic work opportunities at the Institute for International Policy in Vienna, mentored by Prof. Dr. Vedran Džihić, for the development of the study.

A large number of university professors from Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina support the development of our study, thus giving the study a broad scientific foundation.

The study is intended to be one of the key elements that will influence the decision to submit a request to the Austrian authorities for recognition.
