Bosanska Gradiška: Dragoljub has been missing for eight days, parents fear he was kidnapped

-The uncertainty is a great torment, the greatest of all. The nights are long, and when dawn finally breaks, we don't know where to turn or where to look for Dragoljub, say the parents of the missing boy in Bosanska Gradiška. It has been eight days since he left school, and since then all trace of him has been lost, reports the Patria News Agency. 

As the days go by, the number of disinformation about where the boy might be and what happened to him is growing. Besides the rumors circulating that he was seen on the Sava quay, at the border crossing, as well as in Banja Luka, suicide is most often mentioned. The parents do not want to believe it.

On the contrary, Bogdan and Mirjana say, he was full of life. The last thing they heard was that he was seen yesterday in Banja Luka near the old bus station, but that also turned out to be untrue. Deep down, they feel their son is alive and suspect he was kidnapped.

“I think someone is holding him, I think someone is currently exploiting him for something. We are constantly thinking of him and what comes to us is that someone is holding him, that he is doing something for someone, someone forced him. I am begging you, let my child go,” said Bogdan Misimović.

” Something in my soul tells me that the child is alive and that he wouldn't do this to himself, I don't see him that way, maybe he is calling us and we are not hearing him,” stated Mirjana Misimović.

Friends from school and acquaintances of the Misimović family have been trying in various ways since last Tuesday, most often through the internet, to discover a new clue that would lead them to Dragoljub. So far, without success.

“It's unusual for us that he disappeared so suddenly. I don't know the reason, his parents are wonderful and we tried through the internet to find out where he is. It is important to us that he is alive,” emphasizes Duško Čegar, Dragoljub's friend.

Even the Banja Luka Public Security Center, they say, has no new information about the whereabouts of 16-year-old Dragoljub Misimović. It was reiterated that legally prescribed actions and measures are being taken to find the boy, but they did not want to say anything more than that, ATV reported.
