FC Muscat Oman, which managed to enter the Omani Super League last season, remains the main attraction in that country, writes the Patria news agency.
However, much more significant than this success is the fact that goalkeeper coach and first assistant coach Jasmin Krajina stayed in Muscat, and Omani journalists are often interested in interviews with him.
As Krajina pointed out to Patria, last season 2014-2015 was incredible for him.
- After Muscat Oman spent four years in the Second League, we officially entered the Oman Telekom Super League. It was a great honour and pleasure for me as a young coach to be part of the historic moment of entering the Oman Telekom Super League. I am currently here for the second consecutive season, and the impressions and playing in this level of competition are a great experience for me and the team certainly - Krajina emphasised.
The coaching staff has changed since last year, and now Krajina works with personnel from Portugal.
- I remained the only one from the coaching staff from last year, and the club management gave me their trust after excellent cooperation and results with the FC Muscat goalkeepers to continue working with them. This season will be very difficult, and our goal is to secure survival in the league - Krajina added.
Incidentally, Krajina graduated and earned his master's degree in Sarajevo at the Faculty of Sport and received the university recognition "Golden Badge" for the best student of his generation.
