Borenović met with Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy

MADRID, (Patria) - The President of the Party of Democratic Progress Branislav Borenović, during the second day of the Executive Committee session of the International Democrat Union (IDU), the strongest international political organization in the world, met with the Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy.

With the participation of delegations from more than 50 parties during the two-day conference in Salamanca and Madrid, hosted by the ruling People's Party of Spain, current challenges of modern society and the creation of an environment for a stable future were discussed.

During today's session and Prime Minister Rajoy's address, the great results of the Spanish government in overcoming the consequences of the great economic crisis and the steps taken by the authorities to bring Spain out of recession and record very positive economic trends in recent years were particularly highlighted.

"Spain's experiences in the process of economic recovery are very important for us, and the excellent results and commitment to the development of Spanish society are visible, which shows that our efforts and the program for the renewal of Republika Srpska are the best roadmap on how to make Republika Srpska and BiH economically strong with better prospects for all its citizens," Borenović stated. 

Today, the new president of the International Democrat Union was elected, Stephen Harper, former Canadian Prime Minister who has vast international political experience. 

The IDU consists of more than 80 parties from 60 countries around the world, the most famous of which are the Republican Party from the USA, CDU and CSU from Germany, Conservative Parties from Great Britain, Canada and Norway, Fides from Hungary, OVP from Austria. PDP has been a full member of this family of parties for more than ten years.
