Bordo club announces competition for head of youth academy

FK Sarajevo informs the public that due to the reorganization of tasks within the Youth Academy, a competition for the Head of the Youth Academy of FK Sarajevo will soon be announced.

Compared to before, the Head of the Youth Academy will have under their authority the FK Sarajevo Academy and the "Asim Ferhatović - Hase" Football School, with support from the technical secretaries of our school and academy. Until now, the positions of head of the FK Sarajevo Academy and the "Asim Ferhatović - Hase" Football School were held by Sanjin Alagić and Emir Karahmet, whose employment contracts expire on June 30, 2018. On this occasion, FK Sarajevo thanks Alagić and Karahmet for their contribution to the club's work, noting that all candidates who meet the requirements can submit applications for the competition.

The Management Board expresses special gratitude to Sanjin Alagić, given that the FK Sarajevo Academy has made a breakthrough compared to other clubs, and our goal is for as many young players as possible to become competitive in the senior team in the future. Through his professional work and dedication, Alagić made a significant contribution to the success of the FK Sarajevo Academy, while the merits of all coaches who, also through their work, left a great mark on the successes of the past season should not be forgotten. This primarily refers to Dženan Uščuplić, Admir Hasančić, and Memnun Suljagić, as well as other coaches in the Academy.

Let us remind once again that during Mr. Alagić's tenure, the Academy established itself as the best in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the best in the region, as confirmed by the results. Titles of champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina were won in all youth categories last season, the promotion of young players to the senior team was successfully carried out, and notable results at international tournaments across Europe were not lacking.
