Fighters remain at Ivan-Sedlo, kilometer-long queues formed

BiH, (Patria) - Several dozen former fighters are at Ivan-Sedlo where the Sarajevo-Mostar road communication is blocked. Former fighters have placed a log on the road, and they also lit a fire to keep warm. Long queues have formed, including trucks, semi-trailers, and passenger cars. 

Since this morning, fighters have been blocking several important road routes in FBiH. They say they will remain on the roads until their demands are met: a fighters' allowance, a fighters' registry, and the cessation of funding for all fighters' organizations.

Several veterans' associations of ARBiH and HVO previously announced the blocking of roads, border crossings, and protests in front of the FBiH Government building if the FBiH House of Representatives does not schedule a session by today to discuss their demands. This remains one of the demands. 

Fighters are carrying banners such as "This time we are doomed to win", "We are all Paraga", "Registry"...

During the day, the roads Zenica-Žepče, Šićki Brod in Tuzla, and Vogošća interchange were blocked. The police are advising drivers to use alternative routes. 

As Suljo Heljo from Kladanj, who has been at Ivan-Sedlo since this morning blocking the tunnel, told Patria, the gathered fighters have received information that the police might use force to unblock this important road route.

- We will not give up even then. A dead head can fall. I am a minor fighter of the Army of RBiH and we deserve what we are asking for, and we are not asking for much. No one from the authorities has approached us, and it's as if we surprised them with such a move, even though we announced everything properly - said Heljo.
